For a limited time, the wise and brave who have purchased a high performance Jaguar R vehicle will have the opportunity to explore the liits of their vehicle at the R Performace Academy. 

Beginning December 1, 2009, Jaguar North America will hist a complimentary R driving event, exclusive for 2010 model year R owners.  At this event, XKR and XFR owners will recieve instruction from World Class driving coaches.  Here are some of the activities participants will experience.

- Dynamic performance driving on professional race tracks 

- Hot laps with racing drivers

- Full laps with driving coach

- Full laps at speed following race lines

- Autocross

- Corner entry and exit

- Braking in a straight line, experiencing full ABS stopping

- Emergency lane changes

- Dynamic Mode and DSC Off Mode handling

- Maximum acceleration using various Jaguar Drive Control settings
